Tonya Crum named KET’s Chief of Staff; Beth Gaunce named Senior Director of Education

KET recently named Tonya Crum as its new chief of staff and Beth Gaunce as the new senior director of education. 

Crum, a 19-year veteran of KET who most recently served as senior director of education, will oversee a variety of agency-wide projects, strategic initiatives and internal coordination and communications. Crum’s accomplishments at KET include the creation of the FastForward GED® test-preparation system, the Workplace Essential Skills series, the Let’s Learn Kentucky early childhood website, as well as hundreds of high-quality, educational resources and activities designed to complement home and classroom learning.

Gaunce, who served as KET’s director of strategic advancement and led the re-development of the Workplace Essential Skills series, brings 42 years of educational experience to her role leading the KET education division. With a background that also includes working as a classroom teacher and leading teams in the development of curriculum for online courses, Gaunce will lead an award-winning team that develops educational products and services for early childhood, K-12 and adult education.
