Senator Mitch McConnell salutes Wendell Ford in new KET program

Senator Mitch McConnell salutes former Kentucky Senator and former Kentucky Governor Wendell Ford in a new episode of KET’s Prominent Kentuckians in the United States Senate. The program airs Sunday, June 11 at 3/2 pm on KET.

The program, part of an ongoing lecture series by Sen. McConnell profiling notable Kentucky senators, was hosted by the Wendell H. Ford Government Education Center and filmed in Governor Ford’s hometown of Owensboro at the RiverPark Center.

Clay Ford, the grandson of Governor Ford, provides an introduction to Senator McConnell’s address, which is entitled, “Wendell Ford: Governor, Senator and Kentucky Legend.”
