KET to air weekly updates on COVID-19 in Kentucky

KET will begin airing a new program updating viewers on COVID-19 developments in Kentucky.

Coronavirus: A Kentucky Update premieres Friday, March 20, at 9:30/8:30 pm on KET. Beginning Friday, March 27, the program will air at 8:30/7:30 pm. The program also will air on Sundays at 12:30 pm/11:30 am on KET and at 8/7 pm on KET2.

Hosted by Dr. Wayne Tuckson of KET’s Kentucky Health, the program provides a weekly update on the coronavirus disease 2019, also known as COVID-19, in Kentucky. Tuckson also will speak with state health experts, who will answer some of the questions received through the state’s COVID-19 hotline.

In addition, viewers are encouraged to submit questions for the program via KET’s Twitter – @KET – and via email at cvupdate@ket.org.

The archived program will be available online at KET.org/coronavirus, where viewers can find additional resources.
