MEDIA ADVISORY: New interview with Sen. Mitch McConnell airs tonight

Following Sen. Mitch McConnell’s swearing-in today as the new majority leader of the U.S. Senate, KET premieres a new One to One with Bill Goodman interview, recently conducted at Ashland, the Henry Clay estate in Lexington. The program airs tonight, Jan. 6, at 6:30/5:30 pm on KET.
In the conversation, Sen. McConnell discusses how he will manage the new Senate in the 114th Congress, including opening up the amendment process and working longer hours.
McConnell also talks about what he and President Obama might agree on this year, such as comprehensive tax reform, trade agreements and solutions to America’s aging infrastructure challenges.
