Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear recently appointed Leah Adkins to the Kentucky Authority for Educational Television—the governing body of KET—through June of 2023.

Adkins, of Catlettsburg, is a business consultant with RJA Enterprises, LLC, with a background in government legislation and lobbying. She is a 1987 graduate of the University of Kentucky.
