KET welcomes kids and families to free Super Saturday event

KET invites families with children ages 2-8 to enjoy free, fun activities at its annual Super Saturday event on August 10 from 9 am to 2 pm at the KET Studios, 600 Cooper Drive in Lexington.
Attendees will get a chance to meet Mr. Steve of PBS KIDS, pose for pictures with Curious George and Daniel Tiger, and explore and learn at many STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math)-focused booths sponsored by event partners including:
- Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest
- Columbia Gas of Kentucky
- Kentucky Historical Society (Camp Arty Fact)
- Kentucky Science Center
- Living Archaeology Weekend
- The Living Arts and Science Center
- Mathnasium of West Lexington
- UK Art Museum
- UK Department of Physics and Astronomy
- Wild Fig Books and Coffee
Registration is free, but must be done in advance online at KET.org/supersaturday. Families may choose to attend either a 9 am, 10:30 am or 11:45 am session.
