KET welcomes families and kids to free Super Saturday back-to-school event

KET invites families with children ages 2-8 to enjoy free, fun activities at its annual Super Saturday event on August 8 from 9 am to 3:30 pm at the KET Studios, 600 Cooper Drive in Lexington. This year’s event is sponsored in part by the Junior League of Lexington.
Attendees will get a chance to meet the Cat in the Hat and Mr. Steve of PBS KIDS, as well as explore and learn at many fun and educational booths sponsored by event partners including:

- Eye Level of Lexington-West
- Fabber Academy
- Fancy-Face Face Painting
- Funtasy Faces
- Kentucky Archeological Society
- Kentucky Historical Society (Camp Arty Fact)

- Musikgarten of Lexington
- Newton’s Attic
- Salato Wildlife Education Center
- Strokes of Genius
- UK Physics Department
- Whole Foods Market
Registration is free, but must be done in advance online at www.ket.org/supersaturday. Families may choose to attend either a 9 am, 11 am, or 1 pm session. Plan to register early, as sessions typically fill quickly.
