KET’s Summer Spectacular telethon (Aug. 17-25) offers an eight-day extravaganza of music, travel and health and fitness specials – plus the opportunity to support KET’s programming and services. Viewers may call 1-800-866-0366 or go online at KET.org/donate to contribute throughout the event.
Summer Spectacular highlights include:
Prince: Rave Un2 the Year 2000: Experience Prince’s legendary talent and peerless showmanship at a dazzling show filmed on the cusp of the new millennium. Recorded at Paisley Park Studios, the concert features performances of his timeless hits including “Kiss” and “Purple Rain.” | KET: Saturday, Aug. 17 at 10:30/9:30 pm
Les Misérables 25th Anniversary Concert at the O2: To mark the 25th Anniversary of Les Misérables, the show’s producer, Cameron Mackintosh, presents an extraordinary concert at the O2 Arena in London. | KET: Sunday, Aug. 18 at 5/4 pm
Downton Abbey Live!: In anticipation of the September 2019 premiere of the Downton Abbey feature film, this special offers a nostalgic celebration of the most successful British drama ever – the stellar cast, superb writing, spectacular locations, and dazzling costumes. Planned participants include Lesley Nicol (Mrs. Patmore); Phyllis Logan (Mrs. Hughes); Harry Hadden-Paton (Bertie, Edith’s husband); and producers Gareth Neame and Liz Trubridge, plus pre-recorded interviews with Julian Fellowes (writer) and Hugh Bonneville (Robert Crawley). | KET: Sunday, Aug. 18 at 9/8 pm

Downton Abbey Returns!: Join host Jim Carter (Mr. Carson) for a celebration of the beloved hit series and a sneak peek at the upcoming feature film, set to hit theaters in September. Doobie Brothers Live from the Beacon Theatre: Join the Dobbie Brothers as they return to New York City’s Beacon Theatre for the first time in 25 years.
