KET hosts Antiques Roadshow Louisville preview event

For Release: 03/14/19 10:09 AM

Last spring, the Antiques Roadshow crew arrived at Louisville’s Churchill Downs as part of the hit series’ new groundbreaking move to film on site at iconic locations throughout the country.

The three Louisville episodes will premiere May 6, 13 and 20 on KET2 – and May 9, 16 and 23 on KET – but fans of the program don’t have to wait until then to see what treasures were uncovered.

KET will host an Antiques Roadshow Premiere Event, including a cocktail celebration and a sneak peek at the Louisville episodes, on Thursday, April 18 from 6 to 8:30 pm at the Kentucky Derby Museum on the Churchill Downs grounds.

Guests will enjoy a specially curated look at appraisals from all three Louisville episodes, featuring items that shine a spotlight on Kentucky’s unique cultural heritage.

Tickets are $75 per person or $1,500 for a reserved table for eight and premiere patron sponsorship. The event is presented by the Greater Louisville Regional Board of the Commonwealth Fund for KET with support from presenting sponsor Hardscuffle, Inc., host sponsor Kosair Charities, and event sponsor Dinsmore Private Client & Family Wealth Planning. Proceeds benefit KET programs and services.
