KET expands coverage of the 2020 legislative session during COVID-19 health emergency
For Release: 03/18/20 9:16 AM
For the duration of the COVID-19 health emergency that has restricted visitors at the Kentucky State Capitol and Capitol Annex, KET is expanding its online coverage to live stream even more of the General Assembly’s standing committee meetings.
Beginning today, every Senate and House standing committee will be available for live online viewing: most of these meetings will now stream at KET.org/legislature. Those not streaming at KET.org/legislature will be available for viewing from the Legislative Research Commission (LRC) on YouTube. Visit KET.org/legislature for a daily schedule of KET’s coverage.
For the latest information on all committee meetings, along with links to livestreams, visit the LRC’s daily schedule.
KET’s extensive television broadcast and online coverage of the 2020 Kentucky legislative session already includes Senate and House chamber sessions and committee meetings. Viewers can turn to KET on air and online to follow the legislative process, policy discussions, committee meetings and chamber sessions.
KET legislative coverage can be watched live on:
- The Kentucky Channel, KET KY (over-the-air and cable statewide)
- Online at KET.org/legislature
- On Apple and Android mobile devices via the Kentucky Legislative Coverage App (download at KET.org/apps)
- Frankfort Plant Board Cable

Archived video is available anytime at KET.org/legislature and on the app.
