‘Kentucky Health’ discusses prevention and treatment of HPV-related oral cancer

Kentucky has the highest rate of cancers caused by the Human papillomavirus (HPV) in the nation. On this episode of Kentucky Heath, Dr. Wayne Tuckson discusses the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of HPV-related oral and throat cancer with Dr. Pam Stein VanArsdall, professor and division chief of Public Health Dentistry at the University of Kentucky.

Kentucky Health: Oral Cancer and HPV: The Surprising Connection episode airs Sunday, Nov. 21, at 12:30 pm/11:30 am on KET and Monday, Nov. 22, at 2/1 pm on KET2.
