Independent Lens “Look & See: Wendell Berry’s Kentucky” offers a cinematic portrait of the changing landscapes and shifting values of rural America in an era of industrial agriculture, as seen through the mind’s eye of writer, farmer, activist and Henry County native Wendell Berry. The program airs Monday, April 23 at 10/9 pm on KET and Monday, April 30 at 9/8 pm on KET2.

Directed by Laura Dunn and executive produced by Terrence Malick and Robert Redford, the film combines observational scenes of farming life and interviews with farmers and community members across four seasons of the farming cycle – a documentary style that allows Henry County, Ky. to emerge as its own character in the film.

Independent Lens “Look & See: Wendell Berry’s Kentucky” is produced by Laura Dunn and Jef Sewell.
